Definitely better than it is in the movies! The sheer architectural magnificence of this building is jaw-dropping, and it is probably the most iconic building in the world.
The security guards were very friendly. The interior is also iconic, with the marble floors and ornate ceiling. we recommend going to the top if it’s during sunset or night time. You will see how beautiful New York is from the top. Be prepared to spend a whole lot of time to get to the top.
To get to the top probably took 10 minutes and that was because we stop to read and their was one line. We had no problem going outside and get any picture we wanted. It was lovely and the place is clean the staff is very nice, they did keep people moving alone.
Overall we would highly recommend this building to any person because you only live once and its the most iconic building on the planet. we think everybody should come and visit here at least once in there life time.
The main deck, on 86th floor, is $34 for an adult, $27 for a child, and $31 for a senior
